A Message from OACM:
The need for orthopaedic care continues, despite COVID-19. We are OPEN and here to serve you, with some new processes and hours in place to assure safety for all.
If you have an orthopaedic or musculoskeletal emergency, there is no need to go to the Emergency Room, Patient First, or any other non-orthopaedic urgent-care clinic. Instead, please call us at (410) 644-1880 for a screening. We will work to see you on the same day at one of our three locations: Catonsville, Eldersburg, and Columbia, during our Monday–Friday normal business hours. We will continue to see urgent care walk-ins on Saturdays 9:00 AM–1:00 PM in our Columbia office, but will not be open for the extended night hours until further notice. Please limit the number of visitors attending any appointment to ONE.
During screening you will be asked: If you have any flu-like symptoms, such as coughing, fever, or difficulty breathing; if you or anyone that you have been in close contact with has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days; if you have traveled outside of Maryland in the last 30 days; or if you have been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside of Maryland in the last 30 days and, if yes, if they have been ill.
We are now offering Telehealth visits through Klara, a HIPAA-compliant messaging app built into our website. “Telehealth” is a video visit which allows our providers to evaluate, diagnose, and treat you using telecommunications technology, such as your phone, tablet, or computer. You will need access to an internet connection and a device that has both a camera and microphone.
For more information about Telehealth, please view this video.
For more information about COVID-19, please visit the CDC website.
