Heather Roseman, DPT
Heather is a Carroll County native, as she was born and raised in Westminster. She graduated from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2010 and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. She initially specialized in geriatric care, particularly stroke rehabilitation and fall prevention/balance re-education, as she entered the field after caring for her Grandmother who had a stroke. She helped develop an outpatient physical therapy program and aquatics wellness program for the skilled nursing facility she worked in and after about 4 years she transitioned to outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, where her passion for sports and working with children have shined through. She specializes in treatment of the lower quarter, orthopedic pediatric care, and is certified through Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments for dry needling. Heather is wildly enthusiastic about injury prevention and rehabilitation for youth athletes.
In her spare time Heather enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid softball and basketball player. She coaches both of her children in softball/baseball and basketball and uses a more holistic approach to coaching by mentoring kids about having a champion mindset and teaching them how to take care of their growing bodies while teaching the game.
