Michael Perumattathil, DPT
A Maryland native, he earned his Bachelor of Health Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees through Saint Joseph University’s 5.5-year direct-entry Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Philadelphia. During his clinical education, he completed rotations in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedics, and outpatient physical therapy, gaining experience treating a wide variety of patient populations and conditions. Having grown up playing sports, he developed a passion for movement and exercise, which inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels and believes in a movement-based approach to rehabilitation that focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and helping individuals return to the activities they love. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys strength training, playing basketball and volleyball, spending time outdoors, and staying active with family and friends.
