Wendy Getman, PTA

Wendy Getman is a native of Northern New York. After graduating from SUNY ESF with an Environmental Science degree, Wendy joined the Coast Guard. She spent 10 years doing environmental compliance and moved up and down the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico. Wendy has always been active playing soccer, basketball, and softball in high school, continued to play soccer in college, and now plays recreational soccer and ice hockey. After leaving the Coast Guard Wendy wanted to help people live an active life and received her PTA degree from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in 2023. While in school Wendy completed rotations in general outpatient orthopedics and had the opportunity to complete a sports medicine rotation where she had the chance to work with a population ranging from active adults, high school athletes, and D1 college athletes.  In her free time, Wendy enjoys running, lifting, skiing, and hiking with her wife and dogs.
